I think you’re probably misreading some sort of agenda, or social group into my statement. Actually, my mistake here was the opposite issue. I have so LITTLE focus on individual cultural niches that I forget other people actually dig into their hobbies.

That’s a REALLY good point because I would have probably made the same comment if these questions were about Drake and Taylor Swift.  I guess I just spend a lot of focus absorbing shit instead of focusing in on things?  But I shouldn’t assume everyone else does too.

I mean, it depends on what all the other categories were? My friends who shared this with me aren’t exactly hardcore gamers, which was why I sort of anecdotally figured that you didn’t need to be to get these, but that was my mistake!

I guess I was under the impression that Elder Scrolls and Destiny were like... earth shatteringly popular because I’m only kind of on the fringe of the gamer community to start with?  I definitely was mistaken though.

To be fair, Joust is super old.  I only know about it because my older sisters played it.

Those are all solid points.  As I said other places and I’ll say again, I can definitely see where I overestimated the popularity of these things.

I have literally received more hateful comments for saying “these jeapordy questions seemed pretty easy” than any divisive or controversial thing I have ever said in my life.   Thank you all for being unnecessarily awful people over a lukewarm statement.
