You’d have gotten a lot less hate if that was what you said. That is not what you said. May have been the core of your intent, but that’s not how communication works.

To be honest, I would have guessed “What is an RPG” for the Morrowind/Skyrim one. I completely missed that they were asking for the series name.

Yes, we are all very impressed by how much you know about video games. Wonder when the irony will hit you? Before or after you realise you have the exact same gaps in your cultural knowledge? How much can you tell me about Mean Girls?

Sometimes it’s easy to forget, especially when you spend an appreciable amount of time on sites like this, but the vast majority of people in America... hell, the majority of people in the world, do not give a single shit about video games.

That’s the exception to the rule and you know it. That game emphasizes the entire title, “Elder Scrolls” included.

I played Skyrim and I forgot the name of the series, honestly.

I don’t think cultural awareness requires that you know what The Elder Scrolls is. So many people don’t play games and wouldn’t have any idea.

Eventual controversy aside, I am still a bit bitter that I replayed Catherine the week before this was announced. It looks like it will have some new content but probably not enough to replay it while I have the game still fresh in my memory.

“...here’s a signed statement from hundreds of kids that Sandusky DIDN’T molest. So on average, he’s a decent guy.”

WARNING: SEVERE INJURY RISK AND TIME DISPLACEMENT

who? i don’t remember anyone with that name

I think Kellam is in the game, too.

Not for sharing with Luigi, apparently.

Fine, I’ll bite.

“This company is systemically built to exclude or ignore over half of the human population.”

This ended about the way you’d think it would.

Also, wouldn’t that be a one piece puzzle? A zero piece puzzle would just be... nothing.

I want to finish Xenoblade Chronicles 2 this weekend, but it’s been difficult to get back into it since I moved last week. I’m on chapter nine, so I might just grin and bear it and just mainline the main quest and forego the side quests. But we’ll see.

Getting back into a game after a year can be a pretty big step. All the muscle memory is lost, so you can’t just go straight back into top tier endgame content and expect to perform. This is one of the biggest failings of DLC as a concept.

Why’s it too late? Even after completing the White Palace you can still go back and whack that fallen soldier mould thing and go back in.
