Fahey, I cannot strongly enough recommend starting with Dragon Ball, if you can get around the dated visuals, and occasionally dated humor.

There is no dimension where this is a good idea. If they take the movie seriously, it’s at best just another action film and at worst, the most horrifying pile of garbage to ever spew onto a screen.
