Or Somalia.
Or Somalia.
There’s always the Principality of Sealand. ;)
This is an admirality slideshow, you can tell by the black borders at the top and bottom, therefore it is invalid to be used upon my personage.
I would argue that there are a few real sovereign citizens, but not of the USA: Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, King Mswati III of Eswatini, Sultan Hatham bin Tariq of Oman, King Salman of Saudi Arabia and Pope Francis of Vatican City. These are all absolute monarchs. No citizen of the USA could be considered…
Unless you are stronger than a locomotive, faster than a speeding bullet, and can leap tall buildings in a single bound, sovereign you are not.
This is pretty much spot on. Also they have a habit of refusing to sign ANY legal document in anything but red ink, which where I live and maybe other places invalidates the document.
I was going to commend Erin. She may have saved the life of the next sovereign citizen who gets pulled over, but unfortunately sovereign citizens don’t believe in slideshows.
I think they need to exercise their right to leave the country and not come back.
TL;DR? Let me make it simple. “I’m special and the rules don’t apply because I found a term that makes me sound special "
You know, I actually have to give you credit for turning this one into a slideshow. Well played.
These have always seemed very French to me for some reason. Sort of like a modernized DS/CX/C6 hybrid. They have a quiet elegance that I think is missing from other EV luxury sedans, which have mostly seemed to go the route of outright performance. If I was a useless rich bastard in the market for something like this…
I like that idea about “don’t make anyone’s jobs harder”. That’s a pretty good advice for life.
“Now who’s being rude?”
Apologies for being an asshole only count on the long run if you actually try to stop being an asshole.
Oh please. People who think the interviews are stupid already think they’re stupid, including me. But just because I think they’re stupid doesn’t mean I would treat her like that. Plus there are lots of people who enjoy them. They organize whole parties around watching the red carpet. He didn’t shed light on anything,…
Nah. The interview was exactly the same as all the other red carpet interviews. They’re always inane and always have been. And he was rude. Both things can be true.
I mean that’s completely fair enough, but then...play the game. If you’re choosing to go for whatever reason, go and participate and don’t be rude.
I don’t think that’s true. Actors skip the Oscars all the time, even if they’re nominated. If you’re an actor “at this level,” I think you have even less need to schmooze. People write roles specifically with people like Grant in mind.
Yeah the interview didnt go the way it did because he is some old-hat jaded industry vet tired of the song and dance. It went how it did because he is a selfish prick that felt his time was being wasted so the only possible reaction was to waste everyone elses while also making them feel bad for doing their own job.
I am conflicted because
