Fair enough. I credit tesla’s success as “in spite of” instead of “because of” Elon Musk.

Based on recent revelations I’m not so sure Elon “runs” things as much as he “interferes” with the people running things.
It has always been underplanned and overbudget. They planned the route to go along 99 instead of I-5 for political reasons, adopted a Design-Build approach to make it look like they’re actually doing something, and just generally have done a shit job of the basic systems engineering / project management stuff that is…
My perfect car is basically a model S made by Rivian. Love the Liftback Sedan formfactor. Model S nailed it from day 1, shame Elon is committed to running the company into the ground.
I mean, he’s right. And I understand the frustration. He’s 38 and wants to win another championship. He doesn’t have time for Mercedes to fuck around. Sounds like they’ve already put another design through the wind tunnel. Seems highly unlikely that a new car could get up and competitive in season, but it’ll at least…
I’d say that Lewis is a bit of a baby, but shit, listen to the man when he tells you what to fix. His résumé is pretty stacked. Also, I’m hoping for anybody to be able to beat Max. Not because I dislike Max but because I hate to see that wife-beating c*nt Jos Verstappen have any kind of joy in his life.
He’s not wrong to be mad. Look at Aston. They did what everyone eventually does after a big rule change and copied the best design. If Merc had done that, they’d be fighting for at least second, not fucking around as the 4th (for now) best car.
I genuinely cannot believe they went with the zero-pod again this year, when it was obvious in Bahrain last year that they were headed down the wrong path.
So, it’s mediocre at the thing 1% of truck owners do with their truck 1% of the time.
You’re literally searching for “regret f150 lightning” there. Even if not, I’d question anything on youtube because they’re just looking for views and plenty of people will do anything to get them, including destroying a new vehicle. I distinctly remember a guy who crashed a Raptor at high speed into a ditch on a…
The people who have bought the truck to own seem happy with it. The people who bought the truck to create Youtube content aren’t. Draw your own conclusions as to why that’s the case.
I’ve been collecting Hotwheels my entire life, and I completely agree that it sucks right now. I’m lucky if I find a single example of a casting even up to a year after it actually releases, and in most cases I’m not able to find anything I want. It all just comes down to dumb luck of being at the store just after…
I am 35 and I absolutely despise subscriptions. I see them for what they are, a long-term money suck. I get that some things need to be like that. But with cars, no way. What is the subscription getting me in 2 years? It doesn’t add value.
I’ll tolerate a subscription on a feature that is constantly getting updated... like traffic camera or speed trap updates. You can also get by without those at all. But paying a subscription for hardware features that don’t need regular updates is gonna be a pass for me.
Why do people keep ranting about range while towing? People that actually need to tow any great distance aren’t interested in these. These are for people that need to tow their boat five miles to the lake/river/whatever, but otherwise use their truck like a family sedan.
I’d rather buy 2 or 3 Ridgelines with that wad of cash. Ridgeline gets knocked for only towing 5000lbs, but I bet it tows more pounds per hour than this Lightning does... 😀
There isn’t the slightest chance in hell that they will give you the choice between paying for a feature up front or paying for that same feature, at the same price, via subscription. They will discount the sales price only a little, and then charge a lot more in subscription fees over a long, long time. This is…
If heated seats are installed in my car, but I need to pay a subscription fee to access the feature installed in my car, then I will not be purchasing that car.
Should be $99,999.99
