The series would have been more satisfying/better/actually worth anything had a lot of things been different, in a variety of mixes. But I will say that a major improvement would have been having the Titan Shifters be the main characters.

I’m well-known around here for having an astonishingly low opinion of AoT, so I’ll just not say anything there. That said, there’s a show next season I’m hoping might be a better story in the same vein: Koutetsujou no Kabaneri.
Well, no, he isn’t. He just happens to include autistic habits in the mashup of well-known personality traits which have been blended for his character. Much like other famous “autistic” characters who are not written to specifically be autistic, but are rather inspired by a selection of people some of whom were on…
Goldhawk did a good job despite a significant number of problems and mistakes, all credit to them. And the early community was fun (ah, the discussions about flamethrowers). I’ll eagerly look forward to this, but I am surprised; I had thought they’d rather jump into a Swedish lake in winter than return to Xenonauts so…
Rey doesn’t fit the literal definition of “Mary Sue” certainly, as she isn’t an Author Insert. But the common use of the trope these days is for characters who demonstrate prodigious skill without having the ability/s justified, and in that she certainly counts.
Honestly, and without meaning to be a dick, I’m not understanding you here. The idea of the Kiiths fighting over whatever discovery they’ve made is workable, though a bit counter-productive given they all already do have a central government organisation. But it’s workable.
Outstanding. I am very impressed. I’m actually going to keep Channel 5 news in mind next time I want to get different opinions (from the BBC, I find it useful to cycle news stations) just for this.
I haven’t played any more Trails In The Sky, either.
Rowan Atkinson before he did Mr Bean, yes. The man has a fantastic comedic range. One of my favourite skits of his is just him reading a list of stupid names in a serious voice, and making it hilarious.
Because we saw the refugee fleet arrive at Kharak; many ships having failed along the way, those that made it limping and barely controllable. There weren’t any warships, they’d just lost a war and been exiled. But after that, they established a city around the wreck of the Khar-Toba before its power core failed, then…
I’m not sure I’m as happy with it now being a prequel. I mean, I was kinda expecting it ever since I heard the game was going to be officially Homeworld, but I don’t think it was necessary and it could be limiting.
Always good to see Dragon!
No, it honestly doesn’t ring a bell.
My favourite recuts of the Prequels have to be the ones done by Auralnauts. A complete reinterpretation of the films; with the Jedi being stoners, the Sith being business managers and C3PO being a sociopathic mass murderer. It works so well!
[laughing] I had not heard that one. Really? Hahaha.
I had also had that idea, heh. But I’m not sure how well it’d work in practise.
Not going to happen, as remember she’s still in the Lifestream in AC. But they could expand her role after that event in some way to keep her actively relevant. I’d be surprised if they didn’t alter the exact specifics of her through the game in some way.
I played that on an emulator, with a computer/emulator that couldn’t quite handle it. Thus I had dramatic slowdowns with certain scenes, including the vocals, which had me laughing so incredibly hard at times.
