There’s always been a small segment of toxic shitheads in any fandom.
I know really the main reason to write about this story is just to get outrage clicks, but good Lord add some context to a story if you’re going to write about it. 99% of people outside of Canada have no idea what The Globe refers to or who “Doyle” is.
Um, you know that Starfleet is a military organization too, right? The government they are a branch of (United Federation of Planets) typically is depicted as being more benevolent than we are, but Starfleet itself is still a military staffed with enlisted and commissioned officers.

I love that the review title makes it sounds like Snyder was somehow sentenced to making mediocre, grimdark comic movies for WB, as opposed to him willingly (and happily) being the main creative reason and driving force as to why they were.
He clearly is talking about show cancellation, but oh boy did certain parts of the internet jump at the opportunity to talk about him, cancel culture, and the idea that cancel culture is a myth by insinuating that maybe he should be cancelled.
