Fun fact: GetsuFumaDen: Undying World is a sequel to a Japanese-only NES game released 34 years ago.

“For characters who appeared in all three games, like Liara, Garrus, Kaiden, Captain Anderson, and more”

I remember that game.

I don’t know what women you know, but in just about any workplace scenario I can think of, when a woman says “Yes! I want to support Amber! I love this! I love it, let’s do it!,” she actually is saying, “I hate this, I hate her guts, and want her to die with every fiber of my being.”

Same. One of my New Years Resolutions was to not buy any new games and so far so good (although I probably need like five backlog years instead of one).

How do game saves work on consoles like these? Does it somehow save the state on the console itself or does the cartridge still have to have the capability to save (meaning you may have to replace the battery on older system cartridges)?

Nice.

Hate to ruin your day, but Just Shoot Me! came out 24 years ago.

Eh, there are pockets of it in other parts the world, but the vast majority of other countries (at least those not run by dictators and wannabe dictators) did not try to politicize the pandemic, so most people were on the same page in doing things like wearing masks and social distancing.

100% agree with you. Right now the only platform I ever get on is Instagram and my mental state has dramatically improved since getting off Twitter and FB.

Total fucking scam.

That pun is an absolute Travis-ty.

Eh, not really. GDPR is primarily designed to protect the privacy of user data and prevent companies from transferring and storing the user data without consent. They aren’t going be seen as breaking compliance because an outside entity illegally hacked their network.

That’s a shame. I really liked some of the gameplay mechanics and there were a lot of seeds of potential in the game even though it fell flat on it’s face at launch, I was hoping they would be able to turn it around and give us a “Mass Effect but also Destiny” experience that would definetly be in my wheelhouse.

Developers here in the States have no excuse, but I’ve always thought, perhaps naively, that the lack of black characters in games is due to the fact that most non-US studios are headquartered in very homogeneous (and usually, very white) countries.

Man, that is just terrible to hear, really wish there was a way I could help support them financially.

Just to be clear, I’m not endorsing dangerous obsessions with speed and showboating as a good thing, I’m just saying that this is car culture for way, way too many people.

So car culture needs to end...being car culture?

Wow, way to lean hard into the Jezebel stereotype.
