I am with you, friend. I can’t even bear to think about it yet. Have to leave.

Yes, I know this is true, but all the same he did say the president was under investigation and then deny he said it, practically in the same breath.
Extra star for bringing up Inigo Montoya, patron Saint of Fathers day.
Really? Wow.

Can’t do a Stagger Lee thread without Jerry.
I guess I’m agnostic towards cats outdoors? I mean, the cost/benefit ratio of cats wandering outdoors is a whole other discussion which I’m happy to argue either pro or con with anyone who cares to join in, but right now I’m arguing paying for stupid, irresponsible people to get treated for rabies even though they are…
You are a complete fool. I can only imagine the complications your foolishness has created in your life. I’m so sorry.
No way a regular person outruns a rabid raccoon.
They aren’t bad at all. I had them after a bat. No big deal. There are several, though.
You, as a taxpayer, should be willing to pay for someone not dying of rabies. For God’s sake, negligent or not, dying of rabies is not something anyone should experience. I, as a taxpayer, am completely willing to pay a tax that specifically offers rabies shots to anyone who has been exposed. Anyone.
Whatever, man. None of this changes the fact that raccoons are psychotic cats on steroids. They will cut you as soon as look at you.
I had a dachshund that was obsessed with lip balm. Ate all my lip balm all the time. One time mistook a AA battery for a lip balm. Didn’t really seem to bother him, except he seemed to have a bit of a tingle in his lips for a bit.
I want to tell you that I’ve been thinking about your post and the response you got from many, many people for two days now. The Slot was my refuge before the election because it seemed to host a lot of people like you. Thoughtful, intelligent, well informed, humane people. Recently, however, I’ve been wondering…
Like jazz, right? Only slower.
The fact that people still die in the attempt would argue that even now it’s not like crossing the street on Sunday afternoon.
Thank you.
This is why, if you read carefully, you will see that the OP was not blaming the comedian, but rather a culture that is gradually normalizing violence and calling on all of us to stop doing that.
I don’t understand what this is? Is this supposed to be a hit list? Because it just looks like a list of seats they want to win back in elections, just like we have seats we want to take back in 2018?
The issue is normalizing violence. We end up in...oh, pick your area of the world riddled with violence and chaos where people can’t even go to the grocery store without getting blown up or shot. When we normalize violence, that’s what we become.
