Because it offers almost no benefit over Steam, Blizz-store, Uplay, Origin?

Oooh, that’s a conspiracy theory I hadn’t heard before. I don’t think it holds water (there’s no direct connection between “media outlets” and “Google” that would determine editorial content), but I appreciate the additional scuttlebutt that taps into the simultaneous fears of Big Google and Mainstream Media. Makes me…
Game developers getting 18% more of your money is a huge benefit to the customer: The game developer can invest more in the games you love, and has less incentive to depend on trashy DLC models.
More so with how unsecure Epic accounts can get. I am glad my account didnt get penetrated by a hack but I know so many friends who say some hacker bought items on their account. Valve may also have hackers and even scammers rampant but not to an extent Epic has. Also you could deal with it in general.
I think you may be forgetting the biggest reason that people are angry: Media outlets have hyped up the Epic Store drama repeatedly, and many of those media outlets are backed by a company that’s royally ticked at Epic: Google.
There is zero benefit to the customer when Epic nabs an exclusive for themselves, and several tangible negatives. It’s pretty straightforward to understand, and so thank you for this breakdown.
I offer to fix it for China.
“Of course it is possible for children, even those who are not immunocompromised, to die from complications of the measles. But not that many.”
Refutation of point 1:
Problem with the AIDS vs. Measles binary: AIDS is very hard to get and there is no vaccine, while measles is very easy to get if you are unvaccinated.

One? I'd buy one for all the shelves at home and at my office.
So, why would the pull strap or button or whatnot for the ejector seat just launch one seat and not the other?
64 yr old was British, that was his hard Brexit.
Just throwing this out there, but if it were my likeness they were using to sell men’s underwear that have “Long D” on the label, I don’t think I’d put that much effort into stopping them.
In fact, I’d probably buy one and display it prominently in my home or office.
i will try. This is not an all-encompassing list, and some of it is bound to change eventually.
I am so completely done with this absolutely fucking moronic, misguided horseshit crusade against Epic.
Look, I get it, the Epic store has a long way to go, but it’s been around for FOUR GODDAMN MONTHS! Valve has had 12 YEARS to develop and build up Steam to where it is now. Yes there are things the Epic store should…
Nothing justifies a death threat, or any threat really.
These mechanics are specifically designed to exploit unstable/impulsive people like this guy.
I never would have guessed that someone who spent $2k on a gacha game would have poor impulse control.
