That sounds like it’s a take on one of the book and mini-series’ scariest scenes. “It did say Marsh on the doorbell.”

Biggest problem I have with the trailers: If anyone in all the bearded world is bummed out, the last thing you do is shave off a good beard. You let that damn thing grow til you’re ready to start picking up the pieces of what used to be your life. You drop a few el-bee’s in a workout montage and THEN you MIGHT shave…
Based on a novel by uber-Marvel fan Michael Chabon, who also co-wrote Spider-Man 2. (And in The Ice Storm, Maguire’s character is obsessed with the Fantastic Four.)
This right here, “ while over a dozen followed former BioWare boss Aaryn Flynn to Improbable, a technology company that recently announced plans to develop its own game.” is what is in important. People make games not companies. What magic Bioware had is gone, but I look forward to seeing what Improbable and other…
Other than Frostbite, Bioware seemed to be their own biggest enemy on this one.
Don’t get me wrong, EA sucks, but from reading the article, this really doesn’t seem like EA’s fault. EA set a hard deadline, but it really seems like the problem was a lack of leadership within BioWare.
Nice job as always, Jason; thanks for confirming a lot of what we all feared. A game that was rushed out and built with a toolset that at the very least wasn’t an ideal fit. And not learning from Destiny’s missteps because they couldn’t talk about Destiny is pretty galling.

Was waiting for this. Will read later on but just wanted to say continue doing the lord’s work.
I’ve been waiting for the Schreier breakdown of how this fell apart far more than the game itself.
No, there isn’t. There’s only bad movie fatigue. And could you people show your ignorance more about the history of Hollywood with this tired “They need new ideas.”
One big reason people going to the opening weekend is to avoid spoilers.
Oh now i get why project pegasus was so important to be included in Captain Marvel besides giving her an origin story
Martin Shkreli:
Additionally, Lex Luthor has charisma.
This guy desperately wants to be Lex Luthor, but only has a tenth of the IQ to pull it off.
I always though the idea of the townsfolk all flipping out and killing each other over vague paranoia was over-blown and unrealistic. Then I got a Twitter account.
The 80's reboot is criminally underrated and forgotten. Crazy as a Soup Sandwich? A timeless classic. Shatterday? Brilliant. A Messgage from Charity? Incredible.
That’s the grin of someone who knows they won both the moral and technical victory.
