I named my Amphros “Lee Roth” because of that. (As in Van Halen.)

You had me at Zach Gage. Sage Solitare is one of my favorites. Also, thanks again for a good recommendation.
Yeah. It’s got one of the best open world soundtracks thanks to the setting. And it’s used well in game. The guy who worked on it talked to Rolling Stone about it and mentioned he was inspired by Tarantino, and the “Stuck in the middle scene” in particular.
Not really. It’s just that new genres happening is less common now, and less noticeable/defined due to mechanical intermingling (like rouglike elements being injected into numerous games.)
It’s a really fun game. Enjoying it while listening to podcasts and videos.
Well, Black Mirror is pretty much a modern Twilight Zone with a focus on tech, so that makes sense.
Yeah. It’s glitchy. Got the same “car won’t start glitch” and some audio errors. Otherwise, it’s been a fairly fun game, really digging the story.
That poor DS. Wow.
I was told simply that “if you break it (not counting the device being defective, of course) you aren’t getting another one.” That was incentive enough. Just speaking from my own experience.
It seems I was the only one told as a kid to treat 100$+ gizmos with the utmost care.
By that I don’t mean it isn’t huge or grand, just don’t expect a concentrated epic like Final Fantasy VII or Lord if the Rings.
I’m like 13 hours in. Keep with it. It gets cool. As far as the structure, think of it less like an epic and more like a TV show, with something different with each island with an overarching narrative in the background.
Yes, it is.
That’s the way it is on the Wii U virtual console, for some reason. It’s shitty quality, especially compared to the New 3ds’ SNES one, which is closer to what the NES Classic here has.
More Dragon Quest 7 on my 3ds, maybe some more Bioshock 2 on my PS4. As for non-game stuff, currently watching Luke Cage. Also, I’m continuing to read The Girl on the Train on my Kindle.
You do realize that the gameplay of a game is only one part of the equation, right? It’s like how a movie can’t be composed entirely of fight scenes. If gameplay is the muscle, story is the tendons.
I’ve got Batman for mine. And you know how much that cost? Absolutely nothing.
Wait, what?
This is nice. Already have Res Evil, but I wanted to grab Transformers for another playthrough after renting it last year, so this is fortuitous.
My only problem is they should offer something in return, like legit helmet customizations or something.
