And yet these are the people that some on the left believe we shouldn’t say bad things about because we don’t want to risk alienating them.

You don’t need to tell me.

Honest to Christ I don’t know how he hasn’t dropped dead of a stroke or heart attack by now.

It’s not good, that’s for sure. Maybe on the grand scale it’s not that serious health wise, but when people hear a phrase like “heart problems” that tends to strike a chord of primal fear.

And the worst part is you just know that smug fuck is going to have a field day going off on Bernie’s heart episode and bragging how he’s the healthiest person ever.

What? You’re saying there aren’t any statistics that say that a 70 year old, and a woman no less, has a really good chance of significantly outliving men who are 7 and 8 years older than she is?

It was in the high 60’s for when Bernie was born.

Well the fact he just had a heart procedure I think would significantly raise the odds of him passing away within the next few years.

Aren’t we all? It’s just a matter as to what degree.

Well seeing as the choices are her, Biden or Bernie then hell yes I’ll give her a pass. If there was a viable candidate who I didn’t have to worry about dropping dead in office then I’d be inclined to say Warren is too old as well. Unfortunately I don’t have that luxury here.

You can always play that game with the numbers where if you live to be X years old then you can expect to live for X more years.

Ten out of nine.

Being 7 years younger counts for a lot at that age.

No man that’s ageist!!!!! It’s not like there’s hard evidence that shows people in their late 70’s suffer physical and mental breakdowns, and often die, at a much higher rate than people who are 20-30 years younger.

Bernie will be approximately 79.25 years old on Inauguration Day.

But remember, we shouldn’t consider someone in their late 70’s to be too old to be President simply because basic human biology says at age that the body is nearing its limits of being able to function effectively. While the odds of a major medical issue that can seriously incapacitate or kill a person increase

Americans also seem to believe that, regardless of how shitty our leaders may be, there is some inherent quality present in the American character that prevents from ever being willing to go down the same road Germany did.

Agree. Everyone seemed to think the whole checks and balances was just some magic system that would automatically activate whenever the threat grew too great.

The “God given rights” thing always cracks me up.

Worst “Dumb and Dumber” reboot ever.
