I’m getting at the fact that The Atlantic publishing a stupid fucking article.   The author asserted that children are harmed more by having to wear masks than they would be by going maskless, then cited a study that showed the effectiveness of mask wearing, and concluded by saying “Gee, we just don’t know.”

Belief > reason

The Atlantic cited this study in an article this morning suggesting that masks are doing more harm than good for elementary and preschool children.

As bad as the optics are to a reasonable person, this level of desperation will not make a single difference at the ballot boxes.
