I'd say losing Trace was bigger because although Bill Corbett makes a perfectly worthwhile Crow, they had a much harder time holding down the Mads segments without Clayton. I don't think they really found their groove without him until the final season.

They sound more like a typical garage band on that one, so of course it's less special. But it does have some nice little tracks on it. Their version of The Carpenters' "Yesterday Once More" is my favorite version of that song.
