I think he thinks that cold racing pads equates to not being able to get enough braking force. If you have integral parking brakes you aren’t going to be adding that much pressure to the hydraulics (it’s the same pad that’s getting squeezed), and if the parking brake is separate, those little in-the-hat brake shoes…
