I don’t think the contact was intentional, but you don’t ever, ever go inside unless the throw has pulled the catcher completely to the back side of the plate. The runner is given the lane to the outside. The catcher’s only reasonable place to set up (post Posey rule) is on the inside. The throw, obviously, is coming

The ‘Pace’ column is the total pace - total time divided by total distance so far. The ‘Pace Between’ column shows his splits. It shows him running 6 to 8 minute miles, which is very inconsistent.

Congratulations on telling us that you have run a marathon. That’s a big accomplishment.

As someone who has run a marathon, I am obligated to mention in comments to this blog about a marathon that I have run a marathon.
