Should’ve called it Martin: The Gathering.
Should’ve called it Martin: The Gathering.
They should adapt Speed Racer: The Next Generation. Not because it was good, but because Trixie was apparently evil in it. And I think that’s funny.
Hey, neat!
rip to them but i’m different
The opening sequence that leads into the theme in Fallout is still my biggest “OH. OH FUCK YES.” moment of the franchise, and I was hooked from there. (I like Rogue Nation a tiny bit better as an overall film, but just barely.)
I tuned in to watch 9-1-1: Lone Star, and I noticed the funniest detail in the pilot: the New York firefighters drove to Austin from the East Coast through the desert.
Yeah, that’s...I’ve lived here all my life, too, and I have never related to the stereotypical “Texas” we see on most TV shows.
Lyonne was born to play a P.I. Seeing her do “research” on the latest Russian Doll season reminded me so much of Eliot Gould as Marlowe. Right down to the muttering to a cat. She is amazing.
Bond’s got the name recognition, but the M:I franchise, I think, will have the stronger staying power. These films are just incredible showcases for the importance of professional and passionate stunt-work and classic Hollywood charisma.
God damn. Five tickets, please.
Whyyyy couldn’t they just use a model that similar to the one in the games? Make her purple or even the blue she was by Halo 4. Giving her a human-ish skin tone is so jarring.
re: Chucky.
...all this just reminds me about how hard the Vader comics rule.
Looking back, the Disney+ shows have really phoned it in, action-wise. Nothing they’ve done has matched the artistry of, say, the hall-way fight in season one, or anything Arrow did in its season two. Like, a bunch of people died in Falcon & the Winter Soldier, but it still felt bloodless. Not even the whole thing…
I’m going to go against the grain and say: keep it all. Let it be canon. The MCU offerings are all so tame, sexless, and easy by comparison that I think we need the Netflix stuff to be canon to balance it out. The street level stuff is always grimier, and it needs to be. Otherwise, what’s the point?
I hope not. That Bullseye take was fantastic, and it was setting up him being even more super. Dude was terrifying.
Dying and coming back is kind of her thing. Hey! Maybe they’ll adapt “Elektra: Woman without Fear” at some point. God, Zdarsky does good Daredevil.
But it does not mesh with the MCU at all, and they should overhaul the whole thing. Keep most of the cast, but just start over from scratch with an established crime fighting badass Daredevil. We don’t need to see him get the shit kicked out of him and barely survive every time he walks outside. Established.
Is this show good? This the one about the murder teens or something?
In that case, you and your team are wildly talented and deserve your flowers. Best in the game.
