A very Ex Machina sequence, which I would have been wary about if not for Tramell Tillman’s incredible energy.

Maybe binge it once the season’s over? I dunno. It never ran out of steam for me, but I can see how “Helly tries to escape. Mark is sad.” loops a bit too long for some. I think the development of the other workers during those loops helps allay that for me. Beyond that, the subtle world-building inside and out of the

When character A started reciting their lines similarly to Character B? I shot up out of my chair and was like, “NO!” and then BAM. Just...brilliantly done. Stiller’s a good director.

This show’s a marvel. A disorienting, regularly off-putting marvel. I did not expect the tender romance that we got, but I am so, so, so grateful for it.

Oh, rad. I might check this ou—-

I don’t know what you want me to say, man. I like it. Is it the best one? Nah, but it’s good and it fits the tone of the movie.

RIP, and what a loss to the gaming world. I enjoyed my time with Coffee Talk back in 2020. It was a comforting game to play at an uncomfortable time. Made me wish such a café actually existed near me, y’know? I wanted to know more about that world and see what other stories the creators had in store.

I dunno. We weren’t in his head, after all, but it did seem like the thought crossed his mind right after he recovered. “I could—“ then stopped himself. There is, after all, a LOT he could dunk Will Smith about, and he had the podium to do it. He could’ve humiliated him and made the situation worse, even if there was

“No Time to Die” slaps. I mean, it’s lucky that “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” wasn’t in consideration, yeah, but it’s a solid and well-deserved win.

Chris Rock could’ve doubled down and absolutely torched Smith and the family. You could hear him considering it, “Ohhh I could—-” but he didn’t. Because it wouldn’t benefit anybody for this to go on further than it did. He took the hit. Got his money. And let the night move on.

She did, at the very least, try and hurt Costner’s feelings.

I mean, holy shit, right? And then his speech! Talking about defending his family? Best PR team in the game

I disagree.

It’s a fun, creepy ride. It ends on a cliffhanger, mind, but all the “major mysteries” get at least some sort of resolution. Worth a shot, IMO. It’s a solid B+ from me.

Just started watching through the first season. Rose Matafeo’s charming as all get-out. Love her. Tom Kapoor as a character is hit or miss. He doesn’t seem like “this guy’s a huuuuge star!”—which takes me out of it whenever they try to go that route, but I like him otherwise.

Oh, come ON. It was one of the top shows on the platform for weeks. It was GOOD. What more does your horrid algorithm want, Netflix?

FINALLY. Give us space war stuff, Marvel. We’ve been wanting it. Annilihus would be a fine villain to introduce in a Nova movie.

They haven’t really justified Phyllis’ vitriol and distrust of Elizabeth, have they? All Elizabeth did was pitch her a dud idea when she was a college freshman.

Geraldine Viswanathan and Karan Soni are both great, and my desire for a cute rom-com movie is overpowering my dismay at it being COVID-centered. So, I wanna watch it.
