Man, it’s been 8 years since GTA V/GTAO launched? I only logged in for a couple of months at a time, but I know the community’s been around for it. I think some people are even doing like, long-form RP servers? I saw one with a lady roleplaying a driving instructor. That seemed neat. 

Bigger story to me is that Justin McElroy’s doing game reviews again.

My guess is maaaybe we’ll be creating our own characters this time around? I don’t know that I’d want to play as Ciri or Geralt again after The Witcher 3, you know? I got such a perfect wrap-up.

Seyfried’s fantastic in the role. I’m listening to the “Elizabeth Holmes on Trial” bit of the Dropout podcast, and I hadn’t realized how well she’d nailed the voice. It’s damn near identical.

The second season takes all the good bits from season one and ramps way the hell up. The framing device for each episode is a weird storybook read by a certain season one character. It rules.

I remember playing FireWatch, which Sommer voiced the lead role in, and immediately being like, “oh no, does he have a wife to cheat on in this?”

Considering what happened? Yeah, he was. But then most of these dudes were. They bought what Holmes was selling wholesale, and it’s baffling. Everyone wanted this to work so bad that they refused to see what was right in front of them. 

I never felt like more of a nerd than when I was nitpicking the premise of the Princess and the Frog sketch.
