Goggins is so good he made The Unicorn, a premise so corny that it shouldn’t work, into a weekly appointment viewing in my household. RIP, the unicorn.

Yeah, I get it. The Gemstone children are three adults who were so sheltered that they basically stopped maturing in their teenage years. They’re playing at adulthood and failing miserably.
that was her...dafook?
Definitely feels like it’s tied up to the whole “G.O.D.” streaming deal. That’s way too important to these folks to let someone like Eli Gemstone hold all the strings, right?
This show’s operating on a whole different level than anything else on television right now, and I love the shit out of it. John Goodman, Walton Goggins, and Edi Patterson...goddamn.
RIP, A.V. Club. I’ll miss you.
Jed MacKay’s run*.
Who’s also written what I think is the definitive Black Cat.
I liked it, too! It did feel like it was missing something without Wes’s hand guiding the action. Like, it wasn’t as tightly put together, but it’s also nothing that couldn’t be made up for with some time and experience. I liked the new leads. I liked it less than I liked Scream 4, which is my second-favorite after…
I agree, yeah. But that run is weird, too. A psychiatrist—that may or may not be in Marc’s head—just straight up says “an alien god has invaded your brain.”
Mexican-Americans losing another show for us, made by us? Oh no, I’m shocked.
Democrats are fucking awful at marketing and selling ideas. Somehow. They would only have made this 110% worse.
This man used to get people to eat gross shit on TV for money. Nothing’s changed except the grift’s gotten bigger and deadlier. He may be a “good interviewer” or whatever, but he’s also a moron. Why do people think he’s smart? He’s never been smart! He’s that drunk asshole at the sports bar yelling at the TV, except…
Absolute riot of a shot. I loved it, and I thought Sofia Black-D’Elia was fantastic. Still wild that since it was canceled, THAT is the way her character’s story ended. I mean, hilarious but also damn, bleak.
To be fair, both Boba and the Rancor were given similar depths in the old EU, pre-Disney. Boba was more akin to Conan, though, and the Rancor story was cute & sad and that poor Rancor. :(
Yeah. It has all the ingredients and even individual moments for a show that I should love, but I’m settled on just sort of enjoying it right now.
Finished the season. The ending ruled. Very exciting for season five.
The show’s good. This is my first real time with Yelena since I have yet to watch Black Widow, and I love her. She’s great. I had no doubt she would be since you know, Florence Pugh, but she’s so cool.
It must hurt like a son-of-a-bitch because he was essentially forced into a semi-dad role for his younger siblings. Ruck rules, and the way he gleefully twisted the knife about the maca root thing was so good. So petty. Like, “he’s planning on replacing you like he replaced me.”
Oh, oh hell yes.
Eh, it was kind of a shady profile. Like, yeah, it wasn’t negative, but it did sorta want you to think “Strong’s in the same lane as Leto, just a big ol’ pretentious weirdo.”
