They’re fun. I love their videos. Very fun, very funny, often insightful, and the editing is top-notch. Sucks they had to address this, but I’m glad they were able to turn it into something nice. I don’t know that I could be as fair, compassionate, and even-handed as they were here.

I was so annoyed at the “clever” misdirection. “Ha-ha! We are setting this thing up as the setting for the climax, and it’s going to be cool and poignant...” and then “...nah, just kiddin’. Potholes, bay-bee! Purposeful anti-climax! You figure out what it means!

I think it has to do with how it set up a lot of what people think of when they think of Balance. It’s the real “start” of the overarching story, outside of those few Lunar Interludes, and it has, arguably, the best music of any arc. It’s where Griffin starts to come into his own as a producer.

Who cares why? It is, and Gwen is doing an admirable job of covering the franchise.

wound up with such an impressive bunch at the end.

“I don’t believe there is anyone out there who is better suited for this job than me. And I will go to my grave believing that.”

If it’s a jaunt through weird Marvel, then yeah. Team Howard up with, like...the Great Lakes Avengers and go ham.

Kinja is awful, and it somehow gets only worse with age?

Also, been binging these myth summaries on YouTube as like, background noise. Watched this one just last night. Fortuitous.

Probably my most anticipated film of the year. Can’t wait to feast my eyes on this one. Everything—from the trailer to the marketing materials—have seemed tailor made for me, even if I occasionally find A24's formula a little staid. I’m glad it seems to work here.

...hah, I should’ve scrolled down.

Seasons 5&6 each contained some of the best episodes they’ve ever done, and I’ll go to bat for both those seasons any day.

You know what should you all should also be covering because it’s pretty much as good as Rick and Morty? American Dad. It’s still got a decent batting average this many seasons in, and I think we ought to talk about that. This is all to say: Rick and Morty is sort of becoming American Dad, right? Not just me?

I guess it ties back to: do Wanda and Pietro have x-genes? In the past, yes. In the present, uhhhh, maybe but there’s also the whole High Evolutionary thing and also Wanda’s mother being a Scarlet Witch? They’ve really got to sort this out, and maybe this is the way to do it, for good.

Not surprising. Yikes. Who’s lifting all these chuds outta the greys on this article?

Yeah, it looks like it’s back on. I’m like, cautiously optimistic. I think Cho is a fantastic pick, if a little older than I imagined Spike. (Wasn’t he in his 20s, early 30s?) But the entire cast is so pitch-perfect that I hope beyond hope it’ll at least be passable, if not amazing. Daniela Pineda as Faye is a killer

I mean, it’s the best battle sequence of the entire franchise, and it’s an efficiently told story...with again, some of the best Star Wars visuals of the franchise. I liked it! How could I not?

The quiet moments are the best. When it slows down a bit to explore the space and characters, it works. It’s exactly what you want and then some. When it’s speeding through plot points is when it’s at its least fun. They should’ve released the entire season at once, IMO. Pacing was the first five episodes’ biggest
