I love imagining Manganiello talking to his wife, Sofía Vergara, before bed about how he rolled a clutch nat 20 against this Beholder, and her just nodding like, “Sure, Joe, it sounds very cool” before shutting off the lights. IIRC, it was nice that it was such a short trip, and that you had that euphoria afterward. As long as the Campaign is up to the standards of Halo 4, then I’ll be happy. I can adapt to the multiplayer and gameplay stuff, but...I want to feel again while playing the campaign, damn it. I want to feel a pang in my heart again like I did when Cortana was able to touch the Chief physically for the very first time.

I’ve been playing it daily for a month now. It’s a blast. Not something you need to invest too much time to, and the season pass progression is generous. It’s worth a shot, especially if you have Xbox Game Pass which gives you the SP and the non-vaulted expansions with your subscription. It’s not perfect, but y’know,…
