I’m so frustrated that HBO Max remains sealed off for me. Like, I’m paying for it, but I...only get the regular HBO app on my primary streaming device? (Still comes out cheaper than just paying for HBO, but STILL.)

Wonderful news! I love these weirdos, and HBO Max seems like a perfect home for them. (I also hope DCUNIVERSE survives, somehow.)

People just looked older back then. Look at the Outsiders. Matt Dillon was 19. (Wait, Macchio was 22? Nevermind.)
Oh, thank God. I love these wild-ass movies.
I adore those games and how reminiscent of that era they were. All-Ages Platformer to Gritty, Bloodsoaked Sequels. (Jak and Daxter being the other platonic ideal of that trend.) I played through all of them with glee. Kind of wish they’d announced that it was the entire trilogy (because Godsmack), but I’ll take what I…
I still miss the weird, biomechanical vibe that the OG Xbox and Xbox OS had. I’d love for the Series X to riff on it somewhat.
It looks like a mini-tower, and I like it. I can easily find a space for it in my entertainment center, fortunately. No weird angles to worry about.
Just...plot out your movies next time. I mean, come on. Basta.
He was still a bit of an asshole post-those comics. He had an interesting mini-series in the early-’00s that dealt with him being an actor. But the best work for him in recent, IMO, was Geoff Johns’ run of Teen Titans. I know it had a reputation for being “edgy” but I think it did a lot to turn Beast Boy into a…
Beast Boy’s one of those characters who absolutely deserves a chance to shine on his own, and I’m glad Picolo, who appears to be his number 1 fan, is helping drive that push. I enjoyed their Raven book well enough so definitely checking this out.
OKAY, to get it out of the way. The campaign is like 1/3rd of the Avengers game that I’ve always wanted. There’s care and craft there. The story and acting are great. You can see where the game could have achieved greatness if it had just stayed on that path. But as soon as this damnable wartable opens up. Ugh. It’s…
I generally dislike consoles that make a show of being visible. Like, just hang out in my entertainment center and wait your turn. But I can kind of dig it.
Wait, shit, seriously? That’s...Microsoft is going for it, huh? Good! I love Game Pass, and it rules that they’re pouring so much into it.
I know it won’t be for everyone but the Xbox All Access plan seems like the way to go. It’ s a hell of a deal. I’m already paying for Ultimate for the foreseeable future so adding another $19/20 on top of that seems doable. Gonna have to think about this.
That’s a hell of a deal.
God, Cruz sucks so fucking much. I’m glad that he’s losing everything he enjoys.
He really does go out of his way to ensure his title as “surprisingly, the stupid one” is safe and sound, huh
I’m a fan of what I’d read of the IDW TMNT stuff early on. I particularly loved the reincarnation concept, and I’m like, 90% sure that it should be adopted by all TMNT shows moving forward. It works so well. The art in this is stellar. Might be time to pick up the book again.
It is a weird change, especially since they kept the name of the house the same as in the book. There doesn’t seem to be any reason for it besides differentiating itself from what happens in the book?
