Okay, but the point is developers are working hard at perfecting natural looking straight hair on white people. There are dozens of test videos for movement and lighting, individual locks and how they behave. There’s clearly a lot of effort going into making our white male protagonists hair look as good as possible.

It absolutely can and does happen, and penetration is not always necessary for sexual assault to occur. Physical response is not the same thing as enthusiastic consent to an act. She also mentioned that she needed to “establish consent before every act”, which says to me that her partner might have consented to some

I definitely believe that he stuck in “North Korea” thinking “heh heh let’s watch those liberals go crazy over this totally-not-racist tweet, because dictators. Gotcha!”

It seems like every little wooded area gets a reputation for witchcraft, satanism, etc.

Yep. The kissing - awkward. The lips clipping through boobs and other body parts. The wooden, unfleshy body form. It’s like two plastic dolls rubbing together. If your game can’t even make kissing look natural, sex is going to look ten times worse. And half the time it’s shoehorned in for titillation rather than a

ALSO does anyone else remember Hildi’s cabana room filled with actual sand?

I always thought that wall just looked hairy. It was so strange. Hildy was such an artiste. I loved her but felt bad for the owners. The entire wall/ceiling would have to be resurfaced. I wish there were follow-up episodes to see what happened with the owners after the cameras left.

Oh god, I cringe at the mold and dusting the flower bathroom would acquire/require.

I absolutely loved this show growing up. A lot of the designs I thought were amazing and to be fair, I did get a lot of ideas from them when I helped my parents redo their then-very-beige decor in the early aughts.

With Davis at the helm, the show’s crew of designers and carpenters—practically all of whom had some background in theater or performance

For those interested in seeing the clip:

Well, to a certain extent. There are lots of anxieties and mental issues which could put children in danger at any age. But that doesn’t automatically exculpate anyone from causing the death of a child. It’s sad, but a life was still lost. I could definitely imagine leniency for a mother who was alone and didn’t know

I was totally baffled when I found out the Animal Kingdom in Disney World is building an entire section of the park after Avatar. It's like... Does anyone care about this? It might have been relevant five years ago but no one asked for it. It seemed weirdly out of touch for Disney. Like something Universal Studios

I was so disappointed when they switched platforms. We had a Nintendo and no other motivation to get a Playstation other than Final Fantasy, but Nintendo had Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong. There was only money for one platform so I never played any of the Ps1 era games until 10-15 years after their initial release.

Is he supposed to look like he’s wearing a wig? Like is the wig revealed later in the movie? Because if not, that is a really terrible wig hairline.

Worst nightmare realized. NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NO THANK YOU

It’s not true, it’s impossible! NOOO

Yes, overworking is an industry-wide issue, but I don’t think that’s really what she was referring to as sexism in the industry. (Although bad work-life balance may disproportionately effect women anyway, who are more commonly expected to be the primary caretakers of children, households, and the elderly.) She talks

Seriously. It’s like when you’re mom is disappointed in you. It’s so much worse than anyone else.
