What happened is that it works great for people with average physiology and no eating disorders. Willpower doesn't work so great for people with medical problems and food addictions.

I think you should probably finish Bioshock 1. You'll enjoy the references more, and probably understand what's happening a bit better. No idea what's going to happen BAS2, but since it is prominently featuring one of the game's key characters, it might spoil some things for you from the original game if you play it

You're not wrong about the cover — it bothers me, too — but I would keep in mind that the choice of cover is determined by the marketing department, not the game developers.

So true. My favorite childhood toy has a texture. There is something about the fabric that is very specific.

Haha, I do. I still have my childhood bunny, although her face is practically non-existent anymore and she's probably terrifying to other people. She lives on a shelf in my house.

Amazing posture.

I hate you for making me realize she has claw-boobs. THANKS, OBAMA

Now with more dirty!

Knowing the twistiness of the Bioshock writing, I think it's probably a red herring. My guess would be that Booker's presence is more complicated than "it's all in her head." It's too obvious from the clip.

Loved it. Wish it had been longer, but it was fun.

"But it was his story"

And both versions look better than the PC version.

Which is super weird, considering this game is 15 years old. Those "kids nowadays" are anywhere from their mid-20's to their 30's. What mythical golden age are we looking for, 25 years ago?

Maybe for older folk. But a lot of people were pretty young when they first played it, myself included, which makes everything seem harder. Plus the conveyance in the water temple wasn't very good, so that didnt help.

I couldn't do it. There is absolutely nowhere to entertain, you could never have people over unless they were outside, which leaves out half the year for some of us.

True, but I think that is hard to balance with being realistic about the nature of modern relationships. When (spoiler) Castle and Beckett finally got together on Castle, it was exciting but I also felt they had pretty much pushed the limit of believability that two grown adults would pine from a distance for years

Which makes you wonder if problem isn't just writers having no idea how to make that transition from will-they-wont-they to "I love these people together." We can have successful married couples and successful single couples, but getting from A to B seems to be the real issue. Maybe because the writing is leaning too

Alrighty, enjoy the super productive thread I suppose.

There's no need to be defensive. If your point was to start a good general discussion on the U.S. drinking age, it hasn't really worked since most people aren't jumping in on examining the U.S. laws; I'm trying to explain why.

An article or a blog that discusses drinking age in America, or at least one where a teenager is unjustly arrested or overly punished just for drinking underage, that would be a start. I'm just not seeing why it's important to say "Justin Bieber drinking in Canada isn't a big deal" here, and it looks like most other
