Sorry, I'm new to reading Groupthink so I probably missed that article. Generally, yes, I think you are right. But I have seen bubbles of young people (university-aged, mostly) who are going in a different direction. That's sort of anecdotal and worthy of a pointless NYTimes trend piece, but I have seen it.

Is this maybe why I see particularly younger people leaning away from using labels at all? Because Queer and other terms are sometimes applied to people who do not feel like they are queer, especially when it comes to the intersection of sexual and gender identities. Am I understanding this correctly?

Daring!

Oh man, I love kilt suits. Are you in Scotland or just being daring?

Bleh, not for me. It makes me feel so frumpy and powerless, like no one takes me seriously. I mean, I'm not getting dressed super sexy or feminine or anything, but I hate wearing the same thing to work as I would with my feet on the couch. I feel like everyone is seeing me in a way too personal light. That's just me

I live in an area where I have never even heard of a Scientologist except online and through the news. It boggles my mind that there are so many celebrities involved with it. They must have one powerful recruitment office. I suppose that's one way to get others to sign up, by creating a network of power and publicity

Probably a play on words for her previous life as Posh Spice.

Something tells me they haven't really thought this out. They want people who have Master's degrees, which should have opened doors in their employment, but aren't actually working in their field.

The Smiths are Scientologists too? I did not know this.

I don't know, but it's discouraging.

Most of these apartments are bigger than my house.

I'm more distracted by the background. They look like they're walking on a dirty public beach after Spring Break.

*Hhhhhhhh*

I really need to get on the Breaking Bad train. Everyone loves it but I've never even seen an episode.

I like it better for the video game cinematic. Honestly, the animation sequence in the movie was not my favorite. The style is interesting and different, I just didn't feel it fit the HP movie.

This was my thinking. Why is MTV even on? Have they never seen it before? MTV has been garbage since I was a kid.

Honestly, if they are so concerned, why did they watch/let their children watch MTV at all? Have they never turned on a television before that moment?

To be fair, they titled it after the gender neutral pronouns, so they've done some kind of basic research.

It's always like that. I remember back in the day when the PS2 first came out and I thought... eh... it's not that different. Obviously that had improved a lot by the end of the PS2's life cycle.
