Yikes, I meant that I was incredibly torn on what to do. I really should have proofread before hitting send. 

I think it was literally 3 days before the primary. A lot of my friends voted early and were upset that they couldn’t change their ballots.

A colleague who worked for the company was bitching about this last night. They were so upset that an employee leaked an internal email and broke an NDA. Imagine my surprise when other agreed, and talked about how the whistleblower should get their ass kicked.

Also, Minnesotans who are homeless can also vote!

Minnesotan here: I did same day registration a few years ago. I brought my id, my lease, and a couple of bills to prove my residency. I was in and out in under an hour. You can also have someone who lives in your precinct vouch for you if needs be.

I’m more surprised that this costume didn’t already exist.

When was this paper written? Did she acknowledge that it was a terrible thing to write. Or does she still stand by it?

My sister and I also have wonderful African American parents who taught us our history. That didn’t stop us from being bullied.

The thing that gets me is that the entire thread was people being shady about other potential singers (Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, etc) yet snarking on Tevin Campbell was too much.

Someone suggested that Tevin Campbell perform at Aretha Franklins funeral. Luuvie replied sarcastically “from what rock did you pull Tevin Campbell from”.

I’m one of the rare people who has the opposite reaction. It makes me irritable and anxious. However, it does not give me super strength, nor does it make me immune to bullets.

I saw here in Minneapolis this past July. I started crying joyful tears when she came on stage. It shocked me, because I’m not an outwardly emotional person. I’d wanted to see her perform live for years, and it was finally happening!

I turned 34 a few weeks ago. I remember when my family got our first router. It took an hour for a site to load.

This is a point of contention between Mr. Burner and me. He has an Alexa in our living room and I hate it. I’ve literally watched the machine turn on at random moments. Plus we have our living room lamps connected to the thing, and it really sucks when you can’t turn the light out because the WiFi is down.
