I have mixed feelings about this one. It’s true that disabilities are used in a way to other or villinize characters in the media. And I did cringe when I read Lupitas quote.

I can’t wait for the minu series on this debacle. I say mini series as it’s now beyond movie scale.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be content holographicly Skyping with my family and chasing kids of my lawn with my laser cane. 

I can’t understand why anyone old enough to collect social security would want to be president. Travel the world, dote on grandkids, enjoy your golden years! Don’t take on a super stressful job that will probably take 10 years off your life. 

VA Beach has been my family’s vacation spot for over 20 years. It’s my happy place. I’m so excited to hear about this festival. I’m just mad that it’s happened the weekend I’m going to my SO’s brothers wedding. 

My SO (who is white) and my sister are the only people I’m close to these days. I’m all about that angry black woman life, and it’s scared people off. It’s a bit lonely, but at least I know where I stand with people.

My SO got a company email to work from home tomorrow. Unfortunately I’m unable to do so with my job. I’m packing an overnight bag just to be safe. 

Yeah, but we’re still at least a month out. Campaign season is still going strong. 

MCTC and Augsburg are both going to be closed tomorrow. I hope the U follows suit. 

Also in Minneapolis. Some of the the delivery places are starting to shut down because of the cold. I tried to order some groceries through Prime Now this afternoon, and was told there weren’t any delivery times left. 

Yeah, but the severe cold can keep a car from starting. And cause pipes to explode, as people in an office near mine discovered yesterday.

Minnesotan here who relies on public transit. I’m not leaving the house unless I have to. Unfortunately I have to work tomorrow. I’m taking an Uber to and from work. It will probably cost at least 3 hours pay to get around.
