I remember my boyfriend waking me up, and the utter shock in his voice as he told me that David Bowie had died. It shook me to my core. Like, it was something that I never even considered. David Bowie was a mere mortal like the rest of us, and he was taken out by cancer. It was devestating.

I use to be a huge Luuvie fan, but cooled off after she personally insulted a friend. However, this is a nothingburger to me. She didn’t say that the man was untalented or unworthy. She literally just pointed out that Mr. Campbell fell off the radar.

With all due respect, I don’t think a lot of folks have thought about Tevin Campbell in years. It’s not because of lack of talent. He just kinda fell off the radar. That’s how I interpreted her tweet. Not that the man is untalented and couldn’t hold a veil to Aretha.

I have to agree. People can be so extra.

Same here. I’ve been going through a rough patch, and this song legit made me smile.

I’m in the same boat. I didn’t have a second choice for AG. I have the sinking feeling that we will have a Republican AG after the Midterms.

Agreed. I’m a former rennie who owns a few corsets. They do wonders for my back.

I’m struggling with this. My initial reaction was the same as yours. I realize the only reason this gives me pause is because of the timing.

I hate that I feel the same way. Like, I’m literally mad at myself for questioning this. I planned to vote for Ellison tomorrow. A lot of my friends voted early and are now mad that they can’t change their ballot.

Same here. I hated beets as a child. Now I love them in smoothies and juices.

I had one when I 23 and 107 pounds and I still have one at 33 and 140lb. I’m finally accepting it.

I think this might be my youngest brother, aka the biggest contrarian to ever contrary. I know he voted. I know he probably didn’t vote for Hillary. I have a sinking feeling he voted for Trump as a protest vote.

I took the light rail home from that station a few hours later. No one was talking about it, nor were there any signs that a protest had occurred.

I don’t know why I’m still surprised when I see such obviously biased videos. Like, if you watch the video I posted above  you can see the news cameras swarm the woman the second she stomped into the protest. They knew she was the instigator. Yet they want to paint her as the poor victim, punched by the unruly

Her: “I didn’t do anything!”

never mind, my ad blocker was the problem.

Heh! Real talk though, I’m a film student and La Croix has become a staple on sets. I don’t get it.
