Local activist shared a version of the incident from a wide range angle this morning. Unfortunately Kinja doesn’t seem to want to let me share it :(

I was at work 3 blocks away when this happened. That’s the light rail stop that I take to get home.

Exactly!

edited because my ad blocker was the problem, not Kinja.

This is the incident from a different angle. Lady forgot the old adage: Don’t Start None, Won’t Get None.

BEY-BIES!!!!!

My sister once had a cab driver threaten to kidnap her. She called the company, emailed them, even tried shaming them on social media. The company ignored her and nothing ever happened to the driver.

So, I’m a film student. It’s my dream to produce a movie on Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Her and Dr. Joycelyn Elders.

I just completed my unpaid film internship. I had to use PTO from my day job during the shoot. The film industry also needs to catch up.

I think the writers owe you a royalty check.

As a Minnesotan I have to agree with you on March. March is a miserable month. I get hit really hard with Cabin Fever and SAD, and March makes me want to crawl out of my skin. The only redeeming thing about March is that it’s my fathers birthday month. Oh, and the supposed first day of Spring.

I wonder if Jason remembers how Republicans reacted to Dr. Joycelyn Elders when she was appointed Surgeon General by President Clinton. Though, I should mention that Clinton didn’t do right by her either.

She thew a hissy fit when people called her out. Tried to say that she wasn’t racist because she’s a lawyer works with disadvantaged POC and immigrants. Oh, and that we all made her feel unsafe in her neighborhood. Peak Beckydom.

It gets better. A bunch of folks called her out, told her that she should learn about racial profiling and implicit bias. She threw a Darth Becky Fit. White tears abundant as she claimed to be a lawyer who worked with POC, and how dare we accuse her of racism. Literally said that she felt shamed and unsafe in her

That’s what I thought. Or someone who was lost trying to read the map.

My neighbors like the phrase suspicious.

Someone forgot their gun at my place of work a few weeks ago. They had to call and let us know that it was in the building. We ended having to call the police because guns are banned on the property.

I had a surprisingly easy trip yesterday. I’m going away from downtown, so my light rail train was empty. Hopefully I’ll be able to get on one of the shuttles pretty quickly today.

It’s a shitshow in Minneapolis right now. A bunch of my coworkers were late for work because it took them an hour and half to get to downtown from Uptown. I have no idea how or when I’m going to get home tomorrow.
