There are LHD 4wd delicas(atleast in taiwan with a 2.4L petrol engine/manual trans) however higher end options like the sunroof and curtains may be japan only.

I dont know if its the same issue but here in the Philippines there was a hard starting issue caused by filters getting clogged up by the less than stellar diesel we have which they say was fixed with a revised design in 2006.

No, it just kinda became a habit of mine to browse models from other regions when i saw Brand New LC70s propping here as grey imports.

I think he is referring to the innova having a 5*114.3 lug pattern instead of the 6 lug that’s standard equipment on fortuner/hilux with the exception of the base 4x2 hilux that also uses the 5 lug pattern.

toyota haiti even sells the 4runner alongside the Prado and the fortuner for some reason as a gasoline variant of the prado with the fortuner probably slated to replace both as the prado still uses the old 3.0 turbodiesel (and a naturally aspirated 3.0 diesel for the most basic trims) while the fortuner is available

Even the stripper work vehicles toyota sells to organizations have AC and power locks as standard.

i think the corolla would be that for toyota albeit a few classes down.

The R33 was the first to be imported by Nissan UK the R32 made its way through specialist importers it seems

Now playing

the wide opening of the sliding door probably makes for an easier conversion although japan seems to do them for smaller vehicles as well albeit mostly for passengers most of the time.

The cheapest Non Kei car would be the k13 Nissan march (¥1,289,200 or $12,437 +taxes) for comparison the Mitsubishi Mirage starts out at ¥1,432,200/$13,820 + tax similar to an ES grade US Mirage Auto albeit with alloys but without infotainment.

i remember reading somewhere that toyota were strict about what got shipped to japan.

Inline with early 2000s pickups sold outside the U.S

or a sd card slot since it would probably be cheaper at the time they designed the vehicle and they seem satisfied speedwise with emmc.

it is however a warmer coupe version of a grocery getter sedan (impreza) with a forester engine that was microwaved for a bit and had surgery to get RWD instead of FWD the very most basic of impretzas got and awd that the rest of the world gets.Sounds like the AE86 to me.

the Celica GT4's spiritual successor is the yaris GR4 as a WRC homologation special.and T230's closest would be the scion TC as a FWD entry level coupe if it were sold globally. Before you point out the body and size difference a key difference between this and the ae86/82s is that unlike the later the former fills

and by that logic a celica replacement would be a derivative of the avensis (that replaced the carina the celica was derived from and also the only currently developed vehicle with a Txxx chassis code). Besides a “spiritual successor” does not need to be built with a direct lineage to its predecessor otherwise that is

i suggest that you do the same as well. The ae92 hatch replaces the ae82 hatch and the ae92 liftback replaces the ae82 liftback

The AE92 coupe doesnt serve the same use case of the 86 apart from being also a coupe and even then it doesnt offer the same bodystyle for the ae86 hatchback/liftback.

GT86 is not a Corolla; so claiming that it’s the spiritual successor to one is stupid.

just borrow toyota’s safety sense already
