Someone managed to fool a 1st gen prius into running fine with a turbo but the hybrid drive will still stop the party if it detects the little 1.5 to be too peppy for its liking.

The mirage seems to be priced too high relative to the versa ???

Imagine what it could have been if toyota managed to do it

I wonder if the Turbo 1.5 with the IMA would have made it better as the 2.0 version that would have been closer to the crx was alledgedly cancelled due to crash regulations.

Farmers in the UK seems to like the idea enough to convert jimny’s into pickups to the point a company deemed it feasible to offer multiple bed size options.

Makes me wonder how well the crz would have been received if it kept the hybrid but had a K20 driving the show.

Toyota probably more suited to that nowadays

A NA Diesel in a commercial vehicle would probably be a good middle ground between the two- Usually geared short enough that you can just let off the clutch in 2nd on flat surfaces but not enough torque that it can overpower the handbrake on its own.

sounds like iOS 8.0.1

it’s probably the 2.8L if it’s a 4WD NA.

not sure that is better or worse than the hiace one

Maybe as a sadistic/sympathetic modifier to the current rankings ? Like if an otherwise forgiving car seems to always spring signs of an impending breakdown at the most inconvenient of times then its sadistic while the opposite would be an insolent car working fine that one important day before going back to its

With enough backlash they could back off just like with the Xbox One’s 24 hour online check-in requirement they initially planned.

I’m guessing they sold the voltz as the crossover/adventure corolla in the toyota lineup sorta like with previous generation sprinter carib and corolla/sprinter wagon setup they had previously as they already have the corolla runx filling in the regular hatchback spot and the fielder in the wagon spot.

well probably less than cherry’s earlier efforts

I think hyundai didnt want to homolate their own iload van in the us especially since they werent available with a v6. The iload's successor though now shares the sedona platform.

If i read correctly it was because the cats used in the prius have more of the metals and are more valuable.

the wiki article seems to suggests that the interior and seats where shredded (There is a WSJ citation though)

A pop up window would have been better than a nothing if they were that desperate for space. Im surprised no one sold sliding window retrofits for these.
