I completely believe his victims. I also think he was a musical genius and love his music.

The characters would be terribly 1-dimensional (worse that the Alba/Evans F4 movies), every 10 minutes would be another ham-fisted homage to previous filmmakers or blatantly referencing his previous works, the dialogue would be flat, and the origins would have taken place in the tie-in novel or prequel comics written…

This. A thousand times this. He is really quite the hack, despite box office.

Also - The Force Awakens sucks way worse and set up Last Jedi to never be as good as it could have been. Disney should have grown a pair and given Rian Johnson the trilogy and I’d be willing to bet we’d have three better movies.

bryan cranston is not a movie star. yes, he was great in breaking bad, malcolm in the middle and seinfeld, but he clearly doesn’t know how to pick a good movie script or should stick to tv.

Good for you.  I quit a few months ago and damn.  Some people can’t handle it.  I try to be chill and hang out with my “drinking friends” but they will repeatedly bring up the fact that I’m not drinking.  We are all professionals in our mid-30s.  It’s been . . . surprising.
