I happened to like the political industrial bits and Luke’s arc. And the whole movie.  So it was fun to me. 

Seconded. I really like Iron Man 2 because it’s fun as hell, it’s like a single episode of a comic, and the cast is clearly having a ball. Plus the first IM/War Machine teamup will always be the best. I lost it when they did that rotating shot where they are just unleashing on the drones. Plus the connective MCU…

When the trailers began to give me the feeling that the Kingsley Mandarin wasn’t what he appeared to me is when my excitement was first tempered. Then the movie happened and it disappointed me greatly.

 Is that movie even coming out? I smell a bomb. The trailers looked horrible. I have a conspiracy theory that says they are burying the movie because it’s going to be so bad. Much like Apocalypse. 

I will to an extent. Valerian was a fun roller coaster of a movie that I’ll never watch again because it is filled with cliches. But the camp is legion and there some great moments of Verhoeven/Keanu/Prequel style corny acting which gets me off. 

Goddammit, RiP. I really hope they let him rest and don’t resurrect him with dark CGI magic. 

I stopped paying attention to RR when he was putting out the kid’s movies, and then Sin City 2 sucked, and this looks terrifyingly bad, but I’ll always love his catalog of the first Sin City and everything prior to that. He is an inspiration regardless of how I feel about his current output

It’s so off putting that I’ll never watch this movie. Not to mention it looks like a video game.
