It is just a statistic. If it’s still “hidden” on the TAB button then most people still won’t notice it.
The team-wide exp gain is still a thing last time I checked. As long as that doesn’t change, showing the KDA ratio shouldn’t matter for casual players.
I’ve only ever tried out Namco X Capcom, the predecessor of Project X Zone that never made it outside Japan. Language barrier aside, I thought that the gameplay was just bad.
It’s a weird mix of turn-based strategy and wannabee-real time 2D brawler. After a while, inputting combos became boring for me. I mean the only…
I think it’s fair to say that Heroes is currently not a MOBA, but “3v3 plus Cho’Gall”. EVERYONE has him (at least while playing in Europe region) and there is rarely a quick match where there isn’t a Cho’Gall in each team.
I’m not really surprised though. Players can be incredibly cooperative and efficient when it…
The former game, Human Revolution, also was released on August 23th (2011). This makes for a nice anniversary (sort-of).
How the hell is any upcoming year gonna top 2015?
I’ve almost finished the campaign (just playing it through Normal, I’ll go for Brutal walkthrough and achievements later) and so far it’s a blast.
You’re not wrong, but I think we should be honest here: “MOBA” was a term created to have something other than “DotA clone”. It’s as easy as that.
League of Legends has strict rules and tight gameplay. Individual skill is more important, it is more like a real sports and less like a video game (aka esports) in nature of - however toxic that may be.
I STILL can’t believe Microsoft hasn’t delayed Rise of the Tomb Raider. It’s not like the Xbox One has no other exclusive coming out this Fall (Halo 5 was released just two weeks ago for god’s sake).
I don’t know what surprises me more: That we finally get Starcraft: Ghosts (even if it’s in style of a SC2 hero camaign, but still), or that Blizzard is embracing episodic content (Whispers of Oblivion is another case of a mini-campaign).
Both of Nova’s ultimate abilities have their pros and cons.
My question is: Why does Activision have 6 billion dollars (and probably more) of capital available?
Is Call of Duty and Blizzard’s stuff really that profitable?
Oh god, I remember this challenge. I did the Brutality 101 trophy as Azrael (I have to restart after a single hit anyway, and there are no enemies that can break your combo during the first two waves).
I think no MMORPG is meant to be played that extensively, that in a matter of weeks there is nothing left to do.
(That’s the first thing that came to mind when looking at that gif.)
Team Fortress 2 once introduced random loot as well, and eventually also crates which contain random weapons and cosmetic items. Those require a key to open (which are only available for real money).
However, there have always been other means to obtain the items, it was never locked behind a paywall-only.
Power overwhelming!
If the campaign were a worthwhile experience, then they wouldn’t do this. But this way, the developers are pretty much admitting that the singleplayer segment is just your average Call of Duty stuff.
