If only it exclusively killed the stupid...
If only it exclusively killed the stupid...
The stupid, it kills.
Ok sparky, let us know since you’re the fucking genius here. What should we be worried about?
Disney People™ are fucking weird.
Three months later, the Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando are readying a phased reopening for July 11.
Disney’s theme parks reported $1 billion in losses last quarter from closing its parks during the pandemic, and they stand to lose upward of $21 billion through 2022 if things don’t return to something resembling “normal.”
One thing they really need to do is to put some real teeth into the requirement to wear masks. Maybe lifetime bans from all Disney properties if you egregiously violate this. That might keep most people in line, obviously not 100% but definitely a good number likely.
Airlines filling planes and opening theme parks.... not wise. I’m almost done with this country, stupidity is somehow winning.
The Disney Sycophants are already losing their minds and blaming the fairly weak cast member unions for keeping them out of their precious parks. There’s no comprehension of what these hourly workers are going to have to face with minimal support once the gates are open... these entitled asshole customers already…
Knowing Trump, the next Paul Manafort will be a newly pardoned Paul Manafort.
The only good tweet.
Interesting, in that I have never, not once, though about them as a mixed race couple because I was so busy being distracted by their horrible giant clocks, stupid “Chip’s an idiot and Joanna gets the shit done” schtick, horrible brand of Christianity, and obviously lowball estimates for how much it costs to fix…
Maybe next they can have a conversation about that disgusting church they tithe their fortune to.
Ahem...
With you on Return of Saturn being her best work, and also that she is aggressively vanilla now. Rachel Ray is an edgelord compared to this version of Gwen.
Counterpoint - My Wife and I liked it a lot...Marisa Tomei is great in it (although it is disappointing that she has now seemingly been relegated to “Mom” roles) and Bill Burr’s range was on display. I like Davidson even though some times his act comes across as a single note.
I heard an NPR interview with Pete and Judd the other day, where Pete straightforwardly acknowledges that this movie tracks very closely to his own life (duh). What I thought was sweet was that he said that hanging out with the colleagues and peers of his father’s who served as consultants for the film, as well as…
I mean, he’s 26. I don’t love Davidson (I didn’t think his last special was all that great), but it’s probably a little early to be accusing him of an inability to improve. And, I mean, here he is branching out to a self-reflective role at a stage when a lot of SNL performers are trying to get a feature film made…
THIS.
