If it was a one-owner car with lower miles and no sketchy history, it would be a ~$30k car. $38k is getting into ITR territory, which is a better car in every way. People will bitch about the price no matter what, but the simple fact is that these offer a driving experience that cannot be replicated by any new

I’m inclined to agree with this take. Lag at a standstill seems like a complete non-issue to me, and it seems logical that that lag wouldn’t be present if the vehicle was actually moving.

A good car is a good car, regardless of who made it, where it was built, etc. We’re also living in an era in which there is so much collaboration between manufacturers that no single car is going to be absolutely “pure” any more.

This happens almost 100% of the time with every Japanese sports car. Japanese car people are some of the most snobbish, gatekeeping-ass bunch of stubborn nostalgia freaks alive. It’s almost a complete mirror image of what the muscle car scene was like in the 2000s.

But this is not the Jenny Holzer V12 LMR livery, though.

Flat four Subarus still sound great

It’s very cool-looking, but I think you’re getting into an area of diminishing returns with electric scooters of this size. A Honda Navi, for example, is going to get close to 100mpg and costs ~1/4 the price.

I never said that I wasn’t also stupid in many ways, but at least I don’t enable fascism.

But Biden kept the tariffs so they’re bad now. When Trump wins and also opts to keep the tariffs they’ll go back to being good. Please try to keep up.

Please don’t act like Corvettes are these unobtanium exotics or something, oh my god. You can buy an automatic C5 convertible like most of you guys own for like $17k.

It effectively does, though. It’s making the cars less affordable.

I love that you’re so stupid you’re literally out here advocating that the powers that be increase the prices of vehicles just because the TV told you they’re bad.

My man out here expecting a RWD Honda Civic lmao.

Explain.

My personal take is that while the Yaris is cool, I don’t understand why people are still so obsessed with them considering you can buy a new Corolla with the same engine and AWD system. And also you can drive it on public roads.

It’s extremely weird to call women “females” fyi.
