Good thing my man is a lawyer for a living and not a YouTube thumbnail consultant.

I don’t know how these tariffs could ever be seen as anti-capitalist. All they’re doing is keeping affordable cars out of the hands of people who really could use them while protecting the business interests of the big 3, chiefly.

Keeping as many people as possible in a poverty level that’s low enough for them to have to take out high-interest loans for everything, but not so low that they become a burden to the system, is the entire function of Capitalism.

It pains me to say that I like this a lot.

With this refresh the MT is now dead in the Civic lineup unless you go for the Si or CTR.

It’s not a plug-in, and they haven’t announced any PHEV options for the Civic.

The XKE does outperform it in the “looking like a penis” department.

lol shut up nerd

Boring people will say to swap an LS in it or some crap, but the correct move here is to installed a twin-cam Lotus engine, a fiberglass front end with no headlight openings, a speedster-style windscreen, and Wobbly Web wheels with Avon slicks.

He was a guest speaker on a Zoom call my company put together and it didn’t take long before he made some quip about how diversity in hiring is bad because it leads to everyone having the same views (???). So yes, he’s another Jeremy Clarkson-esque loudmouth who things the world revolves around him. I really think we

Not to be a conspiracy weirdo, but I can’t imagine that it’s easy to miss when trying to punch someone you’re standing 2 feet away from. Pretty obvious staged nonsense.

lol cope

The US is imposing vast economic sanctions to support its own automotive industry, and that’s to say nothing of how politicians are allowed to be effectively bribed by corporations and lobbying groups to vote in their specific interests. I don’t see how we’re not backing our industries in a meaningfully different way

Lest we forget.

Also, I suppose this 100% tariff will quickly put an end to Jalopnik’s favorite ultra-compact $35K Volvo EX30. No one is paying $60K for a slightly nicer Chevrolet Bolt...

I own a Civic Type R, which means I am prepared for some level of unwanted attention, but I also don’t expect my car to be vandalized by people simply because they don’t like it. That’s not a reasonable consequence to expect simply because you bought a certain vehicle.

Some are complaining that it was the hybrid system that ruined Formula One, noting stark dominance by Mercedes and then Red Bull...
