I would argue that nicely-spec’d vintage 911's are worth what they’re going for in the market. It’s a unique driving experience that you really can’t get anywhere else. They can also be very reliable cars and aren’t terrible to work on yourself

I drove a new Accord Hybrid for a day and was able to get close to 10 miles out of it on EV-only mode. That was with all climate stuff off and hypermiling out in the country, though.

Even that semi-reliable car you’re buying for $5k is going to put a strain on you when you’re $30k+ in debt before you’re 23.
