Yeah, but as someone who worked in naval construction in the past, I don’t remember ever needing a car as tall as an apartment block. I saw one of those where I live, felt like two normal trucks stacked on top of each other for no good reason. I can swear the engine sat as tall as the roof of my own car (which is not

Until Ford drops $44 bills on a social media platform that has never made a dime I, for one, am skeptical that they’ have the focus and discipline to truly succeed in the EV market.

I will never understand this mindset. We paid for basic cable for decades and had ads in every program. Anything not HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, or The Movie Channel had ads. So I don’t have a problem with Hulu for $2/month with the fewer ads than basic cable ever had.

I think a lot of the success of any car-free initiatives is driven by the same NIMBYism that pushes people out to where a car is necessary.

Oh yeah? Well the jerk store is running out of you!

Have some empathy for low wage workers.

Because employees at these stores rarely have a choice. Companies choosing profits over letting their employees stay home w/ their families.
I mean... Thanksgiving and xmas are often the only 2 full retail holidays.

Its even better! In billions of years when the sun is running out of energy and it wants to expand into a nova and destroy the Earth, we can use the bidirectional charging and re-charge the Sun!

You’re only *now* discovering that Kinja can no longer handle working links in the comment section?

I don’t know if anyone else experiences this, but kinja login has been broken for over a year for me, and the only option that works - sort of - is the Twitter login. Granted, I get logged out as soon as I leave the page I was in, but I can actually click the empty avatar in the page that just loaded and my account

Also, as a non Christian, I’ve never once got angry that someone said “Merry Christmas” to me. It’s nice that you choose to share your holiday with me.

Windmills, primarily, but also some straw men.

I think the era of crapcans is over. I drive a 18 year old Camry with 210k miles on it. It cost half as much as a new Mirage and it drives better. My Camry isn’t really that unique (well, actually given the 3rd pedal it is, but still). It could be a Mazda6, an Accord, or about a dozen other cars that would also be

2% of auto loans are 90 delinquent according to the New York Fed with the outstanding total of Auto loans equaling $1.52 Trillion!

Your Uber has arrived.

Gonna be a whole bunch of Nissans being circle jerked around from one terrible credit score buyer to horrendous credit score buyers.

Why?  Is a 911 Turbo less cool just because the majority of owners never go on a track?  I mean, I get that we like to shit all over people that buy SUVs and never go off road... but if the idea is that it’s fun to mock people that buy something and don’t use it to 100% of its capacity, we have some work to do if we

People cannot accept they’re not doing the off-roading they see on YT, and this Sport, or a Forreter (with good tyres and some bash plates) would be more than adequate.

Uh...Those aren’t steelies.

“I got this wrong, and I take responsibility for that.””

No, Mark, you are making 11,000 other people take responsibility for that. You are taking no responsibility.
