Tan suit. Arugula. Dijon mustard.
A guy I know who is now a major Trump supporter literally cried in fear that his kids would be indoctrinated when Barack Obama gave his yearly back to school address to the nation’s schoolchildren. Those were his words: “I’m afraid.” If you think for a second that the party that made a scandal out of a tan suit and… Read more
That’s the thing though, isn’t it? Obama wouldn’t have redesigned it. Trump understands symbolism only in it’s most obvious forms. He does recognize that things can represent other things, that a plane can represent the United States — but only in the most literal way possible: it has to be red, white, and blue. It… Read more

I like to think those herb fuckers see their flat-ass traffic charts spike, and then their faces light up because someone accidently visited Deadspin, perhaps out of vestigial habit, but fall just as quickly when they see it’s a link from Drew’s Twitter. Those clicks are but a shadow of Christmas past, whose time will… Read more
I’m looking at a couple of used cars, which a a new experience for me. I’ve only ever bought new, or from people I know, or a couple of classics (a different animal). When looking at a car either at a dealership or a private party, what’s the general procedure for inspections? Will most mechanics (places like Meineke… Read more
