Buy this for your kids, everyone. And get them the stick.

My parents had one of these when I was a kid. This and a 79 Olds. They had a type, but then so did everyone back then. Those interior shots are giving me flashbacks, I used to love the door switches for some reason.
That make sense. But they’re still inferior from a user driver perspective.
I wonder how much the price would climb if it had US safety regs -- maybe 10k extra? Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad we have them. I’d like to see small cars like this for like 16-18k here.
It’s true that manual controls are cheaper. They also have the added benefit of being better.
I finally got rid of mine this year. I both greatly miss it and wish it good riddance, in equal amounts I think.
I was a little worried that there was no mention of a manual in the article, but it looks like they’ll be available.
I mean it seems like a pretty capable AWD people-mover. Reviews indicate that it can actually do some decent off-roading, though not as capably as an actual Bronco. Now, will most buyers use it that way? No. But most buyers of Wranglers and Broncos won’t either so that’s hardly a knock.
Oh, I think crossovers are here to stay. But I don’t think the sedan is as dead as people seem to think either. When done well, like the Japanese and Korean brands do, at a good price point.
I wonder if The Youth will start swinging back toward sedans as SUV/crossovers are the vehicles of their parents. Price matters too: this thing is $4k less than the Corolla Cross, plus it has the advantage on looks.
I suppose it’s possible that this review is some kind of meta-take on those very facts but it’s really hard to tell.
Right? I like this site: I visit it daily and comment often. I like the not-too-seriousness with which it takes itself, but this is something else, man. I like their reviews usually -- they give a real-world view of what a car is like (Torch’s minivan review was perfect), but this entry was just bad. And it’s a great…
Depends on what the goal of the buyer are. Residual value isn’t always the important consideration. If money today is more important than money tomorrow for him/her, then it would be fine.
Ah, yes that’s probably true.
Bronco Sport is what you’ve seen:
This is always weird to me, since my wife is the one who basically taught me back when we were dating in college.
So nearly every American outside of NYC then.
It’s teeny compared to RVs in the US, which means I’m actually interested. What’s something currently comparable over there and what’s the price range?
this is certainly a take
There was a similarly misleading price on the S21+, so I can see how the mistake was made. Samsung, stop being skeezy.
