Too bad it didn’t crash. Fuck Putin.

To add to this, China is actually getting worse in many ways. They now have a dictator who is actively dragging the country back towards what it was like under chairmen Mao. He is cracking down on the tech, banking and IP-related industries. The amount of surveillance has increased dramatically. Their economy would

Prior to this I was in the train of thought that Hyundai had really turned things around. They were making really cool looking cars. The quality was a lot better. Maybe a cheaper alternative to Honda and Toyota.  After this? No way I would ever trust one of these because if they made millions of engines that

Fuck this shit. Why do dealers even exist anyway? Tesla- as much as I hate Elon- showed they are not at all needed anyway.

I know its a concept. But those open areas exposing part of the front wheels through the hood is pretty dumb: That means when driving gravel, dirt, and water will get slung straight up in the air.

There is a guy down the street from us where the super fancy rich people live and he has a fleet of EVs: A Model S, A Mustang Mach E and a Lucid. The Lucid looks nice but not nice enough for the insane cost.

1st gear: Good. My wife’s company now requires her to go to the office 5 days a week and its pretty far ( sucks and I feel bad for her ) and as such, a used EV would be ideal as there are chargers at the office and they can be used in the fast lane. 2 year old Bolts are priced at $15k or less. So we will probably get

The weird flopping fuel filter is all I needed to see. ND.

Yuck Yuck!

Toyota must have a bunch of dumb executives then. People have been bitching about their crappy truck fuel economy forever. Here in California I don’t see how people can afford to fill these things up at barely over 20 MPG.

I’ll probably just have to hold onto mine forever since nobody will ever make a truck like this ever again. It ticks all of the boxes I like:

1: Small
2: Basic
3: Good fuel economy ( 26 MPG )
4: easy to work on
5: indestructible.

I bought this back in 1996 as a recent high school grad. It was all I could afford at $12,500.

I am probably the oddball guy here but I’ve been driving a first-gen Tacoma with a manual for 27 years. The one time I drove an automatic Tacoma it was boring as hell for me. It feels natural for driving a manual for me. It just really annoys me that now manuals cost MORE.

That’s fine with me!

I own a 1996 Tacoma. I also use it to haul crap and have a trailer too. Its the small, 4 banger version they stopped making years ago. Around 300,000 miles. I fucking kid you not- it has the FACTORY drum brake shoes. I seriously don’t think they really do anything. Its all the front disc brakes, which wear pads out

I own a first gen Tacoma. I love it. Someday I will replace it. But this new Tacoma? Come on.... I assume that hybrid version will at best eek out 2-3MPG more and is gonna’ cost well north of $50k. That means what we’re left with are a more expensive truck that STILL gets shitty fuel economy. I can afford one of these

So the crazy shit is happening in Canada too. A lot of Americans seem to think Canada is perfect and free from the right wing bullshit we have here and some expressed a desire to move there after Trump won. Sounds like the same shit is up there.

The UAE in general is itself “Shady”. A collection of nations run under the rule of a few families who have been milking their populations for generations and have become insanely wealthy because oil just so happened to be under their land. And its our faults for agreeing to look the other way as they commit

Not sure I agree. When the Ford Bronco and Maverick came out people bought the snot out of them. Subaru- which makes weird station wagon type cars with boxer engines and all wheel drive also sells the shit out of those things.

Here’s my take on VW: They simply don’t make that many interesting vehicles anymore. They used to make sort of quirky and obviously very German looking cars and were able to differentiate themselves from the others. But now they make vehicles like the Atlas, which looks more or less like a Ford Explorer or any number

Really depends where you live. Whenever I go home to visit my family in TN I’d say more than half of all vehicles there are large, full sized trucks. And probably half are the ridiculous bro-dozer variety like this one. Go back to California and its more like Rav4's, Subarus and Teslas.
