Police unions are the embodiment of the potential pitfalls of poorly regulated unions.

Yep. I am kind of in the same boat - in that I support unions and the right to unionize, but have seen the Fraternal Orders of Police and various teachers’ unions shield some of the most objectively awful people among us. I am still in favor of teacher’s unions though, because I know just how many districts dgaf about

is this also a big issue in Canada? I have near zero knowledge of their law enforcement practices.

“We have investigated ourselves, and determined that we have done nothing wrong”

Police unions are the embodiment of the potential pitfalls of unions.

Maybe if you’d read the article, you would have noticed that the issue was the method of measuring.

Hint: There was no radar/laser use.

1 mph is well with in the acceptable margin of error to not issue a ticket, I mean unless you have cruise control set it is sort of hard at times to maintain the same speed exactly. And 1 kph is even a smaller margin of error, that cop was just having a bad day or something.

They get paid vacation for shooting unarmed civilians and you think lying about a speeding ticket is going to be what reins them in?

And you clearly don’t read because it was stated that the cop made an “educated guess” on the person’s speed and the cop was going below the speed limit when he was passed.

You are surprised by this? Cops murder people are not disciplined.

You can’t give somebody a ticket for going one KPH over the speed limit; those aren’t even real units!

Did I read this right? The cop falsely claimed to have measured the speed and is not being disciplined?

North American. It isn’t spreading, Canada was in it from the beginning. Mexico, too.

That’s assuming the battery stay as efficient as day 1.

If by “Missing from the overall picture given here” you mean “clearly mentioned in the article,” then I agree with you.

some do, my buddy is 28 and just won the POCI best in show with his 69 GTO pro touring build.

You had me at the drifting Infiniti M in the cover shot. Can someone please tell me more???

I love it when the olds are wrong.

Here come the old heads complaining about drifting despite the majority of the pictures in this article being of the WTAC cars.
