Why does he need a path back to the career he had before his misconduct became public? There are hundreds, hell thousands of people performing comedy across the country. Why does he get to resume his fame before we consider some (or all) of them for his slots?

What really is weird to me about this whole scandal is that CK’s transgressions were both much smaller than those of others outed/processed at the same time (Weinstein, Cosby, Spacey,) he owned up to them immediately, and (unless I missed something) the offenses had all happened during a specific period of time,

Yeah! He admitted to exposing himself and made less money than he could have made for a couple of years—what more does this uppity broad want?

Real gamers just train butterflies.

I feel like it would be really easy for him to win the award and feel like all is forgiven finally. In reality, the people he abused should be the ones who do this.

“There has been zero change in the way comedy is run”

I don’t want to delve into the question of whether a confessed sex pest should get to win any awards ever again, but I can say that I still think he’s gross, and that if I were in a position to vote for him to win an award I don’t think I could bring myself to do it, and that I can see how if I were one of the women

I don’t care if it’s the Bethesda launcher. PC is PC.

I feel like too many people either underplay or completely miss out on the fact that all of these games occur in times and places of relatively important historical events (even if that history generally has a strong western bias). They also seem to try to stick it far back enough in time where things like guns aren’t

Pretty much.

If Molly Ringwald had that level of scorn for me I am  not sure I could go on living

So did I miss the part of the article which pointed out the family that owns Lego also dropped a Billion into Epic this month too?

I think this falls quite comfortably under the “don’t hate the player, hate the game” classification.

The perceived ethics of doing stuff like this is interesting; rather than the motive of a traditional scammer, which is to try to get something of value out of someone without providing anything of value in return, in this case the deception is predicated on the idea that the film industry (acting in particular) is so

So, if I have a full bathroom and two 3/4 bathrooms, can I advertise the house as having two and a half bathrooms?

Going off the headline I thought you meant this one:

For what it is worth, Reeves actually specifically said that they didn’t do the Joker cameo to set him up as the next villain, but rather because they considered that it is important to have the reminder of that presence. To acknowledge that whatever Batman achieves, his true nemesis waits in the wings. Which is why I

I won’t be happy until there’s a movie that recognises Batman’s true nemesis, Kite Man.
