I would be shocked if layering was even remotely possible using the old WOW backend code.

I don’t think fans were wrong for wanting classic WOW, but I do think they have a rather unrealistic expectation of how that would work.
Yes and no. Most modern software-as-a-service companies, like Blizzard, do run their platforms in such a way that servers are effectively rented from cloud-computing solutions like AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
this dude found the explanation in the article:
Depending on the state, it is sometimes called “sexual battery” rather than “sexual assault,” and it comes with harsher penalties than assault.
“International Feature Film” is the new name of the Foreign Language category.
Probably a difference of a couple decades is part of it.
They stopped donating to the hate groups that were slandering homosexual, encouraging gay bashings, and actively fighting gay marriage. They still donate to some highly conservative religious organizations, but the SPLC doesn’t flag them as hate groups, and they aren’t active in the sphere regarding marriage…

Your “answer” didn’t address the fact that we still don’t know what that translates to in terms of % of movie proceeds. I agree that Sony might take a bigger hit than Disney from the loss of this partnership, but how much of a hit?
It’s not about middle ground. It’s about recognizing that the question of “Should Sony continue to work with Disney on Spider-Man?” is not the one in dispute. The answer to that question is clearly “yes.”
Seriously, stop advocating on Disney’s behalf. This is two mega corps bickering over money. The creative output will clearly suffer, but you shouldn’t delude yourself into picking a side here.
Ah, but how bad? And will Disney feel the heat from it as well.
