That’s rough, I enjoy rooting my phones as it provides a hobby in a way and is fun when the phone gets boring. Thanks for the knowledge!

I just checked on the configurator at store.google.com and Google is offering zero-percent financing on unlocked Pixels.

What does Verizon have to do with it? The Pixel works on any network - just buy from the Google store and insert the sim of your choice.

Nobody cares, but I am bored at work and want to say why I am going to get this phone (coming from an IPhone 7 plus):

Interesting points. I was always obsessed with Super Metroid but I can see how people who want a much larger collection might be cost-prohibited due to the price and rarity of the remaining cartridges.

Cartridges for some of these games are expensive, these are legal copies, in addition to save states this thing has a rewind feature and high quality reproductions of SNES controllers. Also, SNES 9x is a better emulator, FYI.

The original protest was Kaep sitting for the anthem, but after talking with an army special forces soldier they came up with kneeling as a way to both show respect and disapproval simultaneously.

Frankly, I wouldn’t hire anyone related to a Lions player to do contract work. I have sincere doubts that they’d know how to finish.

Sir,

No, it’s actually the other way around. Amazon refuses to allow Prime Video to be Chromecasted. Google would allow it just fine.

Or how Amazon refuse to release Amazon Video on Android until just recently.

Can’t argue with Google on this. Amazon is not using the YouTube website but some bastardization that undercuts Google’s ad service and features. Just allow the regular YouTube website as it should be and Google will relent. Amazon just doesn’t want to allow YouTubers to earn.

Not to mention that Amazon kinda has it

don’t worry the new pixels will be IP68 water resistant (currently the new iPhones are IP67 water resistant), so they’ll be even more water resistant than the iPhone X.

“All the stuff I’ve done in my career,” Don Ohlmeyer once told an ESPN interviewer, “and that’s what I’m going to be remembered for. It serves me right.”

I totally agree about the need for replaceable batteries, but mainly because batteries have relatively short lifespans. I bet years from now, the devices with replaceable batteries will still be in out possession and somewhat usable, but the other types will be long discarded.

Incorrect; see 2014's Galaxy S5. IP67 rating and removable back (and battery, and microSD storage)

Weird, I haven’t seen anything like that. Maybe it’s app incompatibilies that will go away in time.

The S5 did this relatively well and it had a removable battery.

Oreo has caused me so many damn problems. You have no idea how many times support for apps have told me, “Yeah, it’s not us. Oreo is at the heart of all our problems right now.”
