Mesh Routers should work great in this situation. I would not recommend the Orbi though. I have had nothing but issues from Netgear in the past. Get the Google Wifi.

I think the general consensus is, they drop connection much less than anything else on the market. All others get choppy outside, but the earpods do not. At least this is what I understand from reviews.
