@lakym97: I thought the same thing, and not just because I love portable apps. Often, it is when you aren't using your regular apps that this issue arises. Might ask at Portableapps.com...

@Kenneth Blaney: No, she hates purple, just love old houses, and stairs. And @jupiterthunder, we have SASKATCHEWAN winters. Luckily she does most of the snow shovelling.

I know I'm reviving an old thread here, but I changed to encrypted Google, and now can't escape it. I wanted to have a separate button for SSL and the old style, because the SSL doesn't have the Images link, etc. Every new bookmark I make defaults to encrypted Google. What the hell did I do that I can't remember? :)

@Seeräuber Jenny: The "beg the question" one drives be crazy. the way to remember is that the question isn't answered, and so is left to beg for one. My Scottish grandmother used to say, "beggers the question," which I like, as if the question has been turned into a begger.

@Flail: I knew the real one, but never understood why Judas Priest got it wrong, because the context is right, "You think I'll let it go, you're mad..."

@Dabamasha: Actually, portability removes a step, installation. So, making a portable app portable removes the step of actually running it. You just THINK, "I want a browser" and poof...

@pseudocubes: Could you not just have Chrome Portable from Portableapps.com and install the plugin? I know that not all plugins play nice with portablility.

VOTE: Cutest pic ever.

Just stumbled on Gubb [gubb.net] and found it has the neat ability to text you a list when you send an SMS to it. No smartphone needed.

Portable, with one update previous in Dropbox. That way, if things go pear-shaped, I'm mere clicks from back to how it was. I should make that copy when extensions update too, but...

@longooglite: But it saves you three steps. (Does that make it a 9-step program?)

@dagwud: That. Is. Funny. (So were the first two. Great when humour builds.)

@clubley2: Amazing how many people think that you should dump the water out of coolers. Tyros.
